Our Story
Every company has a beginning. Ours started over a plate of chicken nachos at a Chili’s in Pittsburgh back in 1998. Two IT leaders, one a CIO and one a CFO, were talking shop about how technology projects kept missing the mark. Somewhere between the chips and the salsa, one of them said, “What if we built a company that actually helped people get this right?” That was the moment Excalibur Data Systems was born.
We started small, helping local businesses untangle IT projects and keep their systems running. Over time, word spread. We built a reputation for being the people who show up, figure things out, and stay until it works.
As the years rolled on, we expanded across the U.S. and Canada, teaming up with experts who shared our belief that technology should make life easier, not harder. Along the way, we became the first Halo implementation partner in the world an EasyVista partner, helping organizations move away from overbuilt, over-priced platforms and toward tools that actually fit.
